Beautiful Ashram Setting

The Living Yoga Program holds all of our training modules at the Radha Madhav Dham Ashram, located in the rolling hill country just outside of Austin, Texas.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Living Yoga Program, established in 2000, is an internationally-recognized 200-hour yoga teacher certification school that has trained, mentored, and graduated hundreds of yoga students from 14 countries and over 44 U.S. states (and counting). We teach in a "non-denominational" style of hatha yoga, seeing value in all yogic traditions and styles. Designed to honor the timeless teachings of yoga, we encourage students to explore and trust their own inner wisdom leading them to develop their own wonderfully individualistic teaching style. Our program is dedicated to teaching a mindful, gentle, and safe yoga class, having compassion for each person who attends class.

In addition to providing a broad-based education about yoga, we focus strongly on the skills required to teach yoga well. Our program is dedicated to teaching a mindful, gentle, and safe yoga class. However, everything learned is applicable to all styles of hatha yoga, including the more rigorous, athletic forms. The Living Yoga Program's certification is registered with the Yoga Alliance and with the Yoga Register.

WHAT OUR STUDENTS SAY

April R.

Massage Therapist, Austin, Tx

Perfection in learning

This training has changed my life. It not only prepared me to step into teaching, but answered so many questions for me, some of which I knew I was asking and many I was unaware of! What I’ve learned will pervade every aspect of my life. I can’t thank you enough, Ellen and Charles.

Thom S.

Yoga Teacher, Portland, Or

AWARENESS

I truly found out so much about myself. Mostly physically, I learned an incredible amount of body awareness. I am more aware of what I project to my students and that importance of body awareness. I loved seeing the different teaching styles and being able to take that with me.
